Walk Detail: In my eagerness to explore as much of the area in the short time we were up in Kielder I managed to convince Lisa to do this short evening walk the same day as our outing on to Peel Fell.

It was a lovely little walk mixing woodland and shore line with extensive and changing views of Kielder Water itself. For some reason I did not take many photos though this was back in the day when I was slightly more limited in terms of memory card size so maybe I was reserving some space for the walk I had planned the next day.
