Walks outside the UK - Index of Walks

It is fair to say that since 2004, when hillwalking became such a massive part of my life, I've not felt any real need to go on holiday abroad. Instead I've preferred to take the opportunity to hire cottages in the various locations in the UK allowing me to explore places like the Lake District and the Cheviots in England as well as various locations in Scotland and Wales.

However, I have still been abroad twice in this time - Kefalonia in 2009 and Paphos in Cyprus for my step-brother's wedding in 2013. On both occasions I've tried to get out for a couple of walks. Needless to say the experience on each occasion was very different to walking in the Pennine hills! Links to pictures and reports from these walks can be found on the links below.

Perhaps one day I'll be more inclined to look for walking adventures abroad, the mountains of Mallorca and Corsica, for example, have already piqued my interest. In the meantime there are still plenty of places I haven't visited in this country including Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Shropshire Hills.
