Walk Detail: This was a little filler of a walk climbing a fell which I would never drive all the way from home to climb but which was fine as a leg stretcher while we staying in Keswick. As with The Dodd walk earlier in the week I carried Rhiannon in the backpack once again she loved it - this time managing to stay awake for the duration of the walk.

The fell itself was almost completely unremarkable with nothing really of imterest. However the initial contouring path was very pleasant walking while the path we used for descent had good views of Sale Fell, the Wythop Valley and Broom Fell. Unfortunately it was once again too windy to get Rhiannon out of the back pack at the summit but we stopped for a time in a more sheltered spot for us to enjoy a picnic. A simple, uncomplicated walk, which while we enjoyed is unlikely to be repeated often.
