Walk Detail: After two frustrating weeks where I had not been able to get out due to a combination of bad weather and excessive hours working in retail over the Xmas period it was with some relief that we got out for this walk. We nearly didn’t go out after I developed a stinking cold over night meanwhile the forecast was for heavy showers some of which could turn to snow in the afternoon.

As it turned out the weather was very nice with plenty of sun and cloud in the sky and we only just caught the edge of a light shower. The walk lived up to the promise from what we’d seen when we’d been up this way nearly two years before. On that occasion I was trying out my camera for the first time, this time it was Lisa's turn. It has to be said she had much more favourable conditions and we both got some nice photos.

This was a nice little ramble and just what I needed to blow off the cobwebs in preparation for more challenging walks ahead.
